A centre that aids the training, launch and growth of service providers that can increase safe access to emptying and transport of faecal waste.

Highlights

  • Worked with sanitation enterprises in 2021 to strengthen operations and customer base
  • Purchased a vehicle and innovative pump for lease to the private sector
  • $600,000 invested in businesses via the Sanitation Enterprise Centre

WSUP, Mozambique

Assessment of needs and recommendation of technology for a pit-latrine emptying business.

  • Technical assessment of needs for pit-latrine emptying in Mozambique
  • Training and operational manuals for pit-latrine businesses
  • Recommendation and importation of suitable pit-latrine emptying equipment
